2. How We Use Cookies on teifi.com
We use cookies to:
- Keep the site working correctly (essential)
- Understand how visitors find and use our content (analytics)
- Measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (marketing)
- Recognise which businesses are visiting our site (visitor identification, part of marketing)
3. Cookie Categories
Essential Cookies
Strictly necessary for teifi.com to function and cannot be switched off. These are set by Shopify, our platform, to manage your session, keep the site secure, and support core features such as form submission. They typically expire at the end of your browser session or within 12 months.
Analytics Cookies (consent required)
Set by Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager), and only after you consent. They help us understand, on an aggregated basis, how visitors find and use the site. These identifiers typically expire between 24 hours and 2 years, and our GA4 data is retained for 14 months. You can opt out across all websites via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Marketing / Advertising Cookies (consent required)
Set by LinkedIn and Google Ads, and only after you consent. They help us measure advertising performance and reach relevant audiences. These identifiers typically expire between 30 and 90 days. Direct opt-out links are listed in Section 7.
Visitor Identification (part of Marketing, consent required)
Set by RB2B and Leadfeeder, and only after you accept marketing cookies. These technologies help us recognise the organisation associated with your visit, which can result in our team contacting your organisation about our services.
- They are switched off by default and are not loaded unless you accept marketing cookies.
- We identify organisations, not individuals. We do not use person-level visitor identification.
- Identifiers typically expire within 12 months.

4. Google Consent Mode
We implement Google Consent Mode v2 via Google Tag Manager. GA4 and Google Ads tags adjust their behavior based on your consent choices: analytics and advertising data is only collected in full when you grant the relevant consent. In denied or partial consent states, Google uses anonymized, modeled data that does not identify you. Visitor identification tags are also managed through Google Tag Manager and fire only once marketing consent has been granted.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
When you first visit teifi.com you will see a cookie consent banner. You can:
- Accept all cookies: essential, analytics, and marketing (which includes visitor identification)
- Essential only: the minimum required for the site to work
- Customize: choose which categories to allow
You can update your preferences at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer of our website. Preferences are stored for 12 months.

Most browsers allow you to manage, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will affect site functionality.

8. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information. Analytics, advertising, and visitor identification technologies are only set with your explicit consent. If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may decline non-essential cookies in the banner, use the provider opt-out links in Section 7, or contact admin@teifi.com to exercise your rights.
