Director of Delivery

We are seeking our first Director of Delivery — a strategic and hands-on leader who retool our delivery organization to keep pace with our rapid growth and set the company on a trajectory for best-in-industry quality and performance.

This is a pivotal role for Teifi Digital as we evolve our operations, refine delivery processes, and enhance collaboration across our project management, design, and technical teams.

Day-to-day, our Director of Delivery will work with our project managers to achieve timely project delivery, reduce project overages, and manage scope. You will redefine the project management toolkit and performance dashboard to create repeatable, consistent results. The Director of Delivery will also work closely with our Shopify Practice Lead to translate deep technical expertise into repeatable, scalable delivery frameworks — ensuring every project benefits from consistent quality, predictability, and efficiency.

You’ll establish best practices for how we scope, deliver, and support client engagements, ensuring projects are profitable, streamlined, and consistently exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

  • Partner with project managers, Design and technical teams to ensure seamless execution across disciplines.
  • Collaborate with the Shopify Practice Lead to operationalize technical best practices into repeatable delivery models and templates.
  • Establish and track delivery KPIs and project health metrics through clear reporting and dashboards.
  • Build and lead the Delivery function, including project management frameworks, tools, and operational processes.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of unified commerce projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations on capacity planning, resourcing forecasts, and delivery KPIs.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives to evolve how we deliver projects.

Process & Operational Excellence

  • Assess and optimize existing delivery processes to reduce friction and enhance scalability.
  • Design and implement delivery frameworks that align technical complexity with commercial goals.
  • Introduce delivery standards and playbooks that drive consistent, client-ready outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and proactive problem-solving across all delivery teams.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption of new tools, workflows, and practices.
  • Ensure delivery processes are aligned with operational systems, financial tracking, and resource management tools requirements of the company.

Strategic Alignment & Leadership

  • As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, serve as a trusted advisor on delivery health, project performance, and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor, coach, and grow a high-performing team of project and delivery managers.
  • Align delivery strategy with company goals — ensuring we scale effectively without compromising quality or culture.
  • Collaborate with other directors to ensure smooth handoffs between sales, delivery, and support phases.


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in delivery management, operations, or PMO leadership — ideally within a digital agency, consultancy, or eCommerce technology environment.
  • Proven success building or scaling delivery functions in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery, ideally with exposure to Shopify or related web/eCommerce platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical leads to turn complex builds into scalable delivery processes.
  • Strong project management background (PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications a plus).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Track record of improving operational efficiency and establishing delivery best practices.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels — from designing frameworks to supporting teams in execution.
